I am a makeup lover and love everything Michael Kors so you can image how excited I am about his beauty line to come out this summer in August 2013.
Michael Kors Beauty will consist of skincare products as well as cosmetics. The cosmetics line is more exciting, at least for me, because it will consist of 3 lines that represent the Michael Kors women: sporty, sexy and glamourous.

Hot Yoga has become a popular practice among many in the United
States. There are a number of questions that surround it though: Is it safe?
Can I do it? What are the benefits? Just how hot does it get in a hot yoga
class? These questions and more are all important to find answers to when
deciding if hot yoga is something you want to pursue for your own health
benefits.
Healthy Habits for People with Fibromyalgia and/or Bursitis
Fibromyalgia and bursitis may not seem all that similar to many
people, but both cause a similar sort of pain in the muscles, tendons and
joints.
While fibromyalgia pain is typically more generalized – meaning
it can easily occur anywhere in the body – it is commonly felt in the same
areas where bursitis pain is felt, usually shoulders, elbows, legs, hips and
knees.
In many cases, fibromyalgia and bursitis can both be caused by
repetitive movements. While bursitis related to an injury will likely heal on
its own over time, fibromyalgia will not. There is unfortunately no cure for
fibromyalgia for the time being.
However, there are some healthy habits you can adopt, and some
things you can make part of your lifestyle to help you deal with fibromyalgia
and bursitis.
The task of
moving homes can be quite a nerve-wracking experience for most adults. The
packing and shifting process gets significantly more complicated when there are
young children around. As a parent you cannot leave small children to their own
devices while you take care of the shifting process, yet, at the same time you
cannot ignore the move either. The trick to managing both without succumbing to
the pressure yourself is to keep a cool head and plan things meticulously.
One product that I always have all over the house are Kleenex tissues. I have one in each bedroom, bathroom and of couse, in the kitchen all year round. With the winter officially here, I know for a fact that my whole family is going to get sick with a nasty cold some time during the season. It is inevitable with 3 kids who are always touching dirty things, spending so much time outdoors and with constant contact with other kids.
Giving up smoking is crucial for your and your family’s
health. However, giving up smoking is no easy task. In fact, a now
classic study places nicotine amongst the most addictive substances known
to man by some standards. With nicotine ranking in the same class as heroin in
terms of how habit-forming it is giving up smoking seems like an impossible
task. Fortunately, with the advances in modern science, there is a proven
method that yields significantly better results than quitting ‘cold turkey’:
Nicotine Replacement Therapy.
NRT has been around for a while. Nicotine gum and lozenges
have existed since the early nineties and nicotine inhalers, vaporizers and
electronic-cigarettes have developed over the last two decades. Today we have a
wide variety of NRT alternatives and we are getting more and more every year.
Due to the fast-paced life of modern motherhood, many of us have our hair care low in our beauty priority list. We just put it up on bun, and out the door we are for whatever life awaits us. But, our hair does suffer from the unforgiving cold weather just like our skin.
Harsh temperatues can cause our hair to be dry, brittle and even frizzy. This is why I have 5 great beauty tips to care for your care during the winter.
1. Have a hair cut. Have a nice hair cut at the beginning of the cold seasons. This will make sure all of the dry, split and brittle ends are gone.
2. Skip a wash. Skipping a wash, will allow natural oils to keep your hair moisturized and avoid overdrying strands.
3. Over-condition your hair. Your hair needs protection and moisture to stay fresh and healthy during the cold, dry winter months. Conditioners will do just that. When applying your conditioner be extra generous, and keep your conditioner in the hair after applying it at least one extra minutes of what the directions recommend.
4. Wash it with Luke warm water. I know, I know, when it is cold you want your shower to extra hotter than normal. But, once you have washed your body, and then it's your hair's turn, try to turn your water to be luke warm, and if you are brave enough, cold to wash and rinse. Luke warm and cold water tend to lock in moisture into your hair.
5. Be gentle when drying your hair with a towel. I like to use the microfiber hair towels because they are ultra-absorbent, hold in place, and are designed to reduce frizz and drying time. Avoid pat or rub drying your hair with regular towels as they too harsh on your hair and can cause breakage.
Try these 5 beauty tips for your care and let me know how it goes.
Stella McCartney LILY, available in Sephora.com for $60 – $100
Burburry Body, available in Sephora.com for $55 – $95
For those of us who love to spray perfumes before we leave home, we know that we can't have enough with just one scent. We love to have different scents for our looks or just by the way we feel. The fragances recommended above are great for the cold months as their deep notes are heavier and last longer.
All the perfumes above are certainly available in your favorite department stores, but I love shopping at Sephora, where you can buy them as well.
And, these are also great to give as holiday gifts!

With Halloween upon us, I wanted to revisit the safety tips I sent you about safe decorating for the spooky season!
On Halloween, the risk of home fires, burn-related injuries and falls increases significantly. In fact, a striking 1,170 home structure fires begin with mishaps involving seasonal decorations, such as candles and decorative lights hung on Halloween.
According to the National Retail Federation, consumers are expected to spend roughly $8 billion on Halloween decorations, costumes and candy this year.
To help make Halloween a little less scary, UL (Underwriters Laboratories), a leading global safety company, is providing everyone with some simple safety tips to keep in mind while decorating in and around their homes this year.
Making Time For Your Kids When Pursuing A Career In The Legal Field
Breaking into the legal field often requires
working long hours, leading to many parents worrying that they are neglecting their
families. However, pursuing a career in the legal field can be combined with
parenting in a positive way, as long as you make the most of the time that you
do spend with your kids.
The first thing you have to accept to avoid
feelings of guilt is that you can’t do everything. If you have decided that
your career and your children are your priorities, then don’t let distractions
such as chores be a drain on your attention. Ask your partner to help you out
with the household chores, or hire a professional cleaner to keep on top of the
cleaning.
As the cost of groceries continues to skyrocket, many
families are looking for ways to stretch their meals further and to cut costs
without sacrificing nutrition.
While the key to making the most of your pantry and weekly trip to the
supermarket is careful planning, the subsequent article provides tips that can
help you save money and time. You
can plan a plethora of delicious meals that are economical as well as healthy
when you map out your menu carefully and make the most of the ingredients you
have on hand.
All
parents have dreams for their kid. We each want success and happiness for our
little ones, but besides that common denominator, everyone wants something
different for their baby.
One mom wants her son to be a little football star;
another might want medical school in their kiddo's future. For those that have
a love of the written word, we want our sweethearts to have a healthy appetite
for books and a flair for writing. Almost any parent will spend their child's
academic career from fifth grade onward grooming their honey to walk whatever
path they wish for them. The key method to raising a little author starts far
before they take their first wee steps into a schoolyard though.

Glam Up Your Week Night Routine With 4 Fan-Tabulous Chicken Recipes
Let’s face it: Between shuttling the kids back and forth from school,
folding massive piles of laundry on a regular basis, and coming up with a
schedule of meals that doesn’t bore everyone in the family to tears, the life
of a stay-at-home mom can sometimes feel a bit, well… less than glamorous. But
never fear; there’s an easy way to jazz up your dinner menu and eliminate the
dreaded “We’re having chicken AGAIN?” whining. These four chicken recipes are not
only simple to make, they’ll dress up that most mundane of domestic fowl with a
look and flavor that’s downright fierce.
Aside from cooking while wearing heels, a feather boa and sparkly eye shadow -- which
you may as well do anyway, because it’s fun -- what’s the trick to creating
captivating chicken? It’s simple: Incorporating a range of colorful, fresh
ingredients that create an unexpected burst of flavor... and look pretty at the
same time.
Seeking out seasonal produce is one
of the best ways to add flair to your chicken recipes. Not only do fresh
veggies and fruits provide attractive color and bright flavor, they’re packed
full of nutrients and make a nutritious complement to grilled chicken. And don’t be afraid to try new
seasonings, as well. A sprinkle of fresh or dried herbs can really spice up
your chicken dishes – literally or just metaphorically, if you’re not into the
hot stuff.
Chicken
and Three-Berry Salad
For a light dinner that’s packed full of color, toss this simple salad
together. Fresh berries add a touch of sweetness while snow peas and pecans
provide a satisfying crunch.

Product Buzz: Dove® Clear Tone Skin Renew Deodorants
One of the challenges that I have had throughout many years is find a deodorant that really works. When I mean really works, I mean that does it all, including lasting the whole day. I used to keep buying deodorants for the good looking packaging, for the marketing slogan, because they were the newest thing on the market and the reasons are endless. At the end, I kept throwing them all away because they did not do the work I need for myself.
Few months ago, I got in the mail a box with the new Dove Clear Tone Skin Renew and the Dove Clear Tone Clinical Protection. Bingo! I have tried them for more than 3 months now, and I can tell these deodorant DO work as they claim. The Dove Clear Tone Skin Renew has been the only deodorant that has kept my underarm pits dried all day, stays on your skin (not on your clothes.) I simply love these two products. The proctection if it is not around the clock, it is close to.
The Dove® Clear Tone™ Skin Renew Deodorant has unique formula, made with calendula and sunflower seed extracts, moisturizes to accelerate the natural skin renewal process, helping to visibly reduce dark marks and even tone with regular use over time, while providing 24-hour odor and wetness protection.
Skin Renew Invisible Solid – Light floral notes of violet, lilac and rose with vanilla musk
Sheer Touch Invisible Solid – Light citrus notes with hints of almond and coconut milk
Clinical Protection Renew – Offers prescription strength wetness protection with the maximum level of active ingredients (20%) available without a prescription.
If you are also having trouble finding a good deodorant, give these a try!! I highly recommend them. As I said, befor doing this review of the product, I tried them for at least 3 months, and I absolutely love them. They are available at your local drugstore or online, and are very affordable.
